Delete your account
Caloriq is a calorie and activity tracker from CodeHaste Inc. You can delete your Caloriq account, and everything it holds about you, at any time.
In the app
- Open Caloriq and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
The account is deleted straight away. This cannot be undone.
Without the app
If you can no longer use the app, email info@codehaste.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Caloriq account". We may reply to confirm the request came from you, and we delete the account within 30 days of that confirmation.
What is deleted
Your profile, meals, custom foods, weights, water, steps, workouts, goals, badges, recognition, sessions and codes, in one operation and permanently.
What is kept, and for how long
The database is backed up every night and each backup is kept for 14 days, so a deleted account can survive in a backup for up to 14 days before that backup is deleted. Backups are used only to restore the service after a failure.
Nothing else is kept. The privacy policy has the full detail of what Caloriq stores and why.
